building Bridges to Med School for others

EducationEquity Foundation always needs more volunteer peer tutors of MCAT Prep, since they soon leave for med school.

Application Requirement to tutor for EEF:

  1. Your score on a recent MCAT (at most 3 years ago for premeds, at most 6 years ago for med students) ranks you in at least the 90th percentile on the MCAT section(s) you tutor for EEF.

  2. Time Commitment (minimum = 2 months @ 3 weekly hours per student)

NOTES:

  1. EEF is not currently hiring full-time tutors.

  2. All part-time tutors are volunteers.

  3. EEF allows part-time PeerTutors to set their own schedules and #students.

  4. The MCAT sections most in demand: Chem/Phys & CARS


Steps to Apply to be an EEF PeerTutor:
1. Send a cover letter outlining

  • Where you are in your studies, and

  • Why you want to PeerTutor for EEF

2. Send the MCAT Score Report that AAMC sent you for your latest MCAT.
3. Complete & Return the Questionnaire* we will send you in reply.

*Asks details that will enable us to better fit you into our line-up of tutors.
